  1. Hi folks,
  2.  
  3. This is the sixteenth incremental "over-the-board" update to my virus
  4. collections released in the last three years or so. Many of you were
  5. "complaining" about having to download the whole file when only minor
  6. additions were made. True, some of the collections have grown quite large
  7. and for those of you without too many download credits that would be a
  8. pain in the butt :)
  9.  
  10. Below you'll find the list of all released collections up to October 1st 1996.
  11. As of that date only "over-the-board" updates will be released. Maybe I will
  12. release the complete collections annually for those of you who want "clean"
  13. and "sorted" files.
  14.  
  15. The only exception to this system is the VDAT database. Releasing minor
  16. updates to this file is not feasible. It will only be released as a complete
  17. file everytime an update is ready.
  18.  
  19. These incremental updates will be released whenever the amount of new material
  20. warrants it but I'm initially looking at once a month. The updates will be
  21. named in a CCTXXXX.ZIP format where XXXX is the month/year combination. This
  22. release is named CCTX0198.ZIP accordingly.
  23.  
  24. Hopefully this system will make the collections more accessible to all who
  25. want them.
